Our friends at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com have rounded up a spectacular mix of notable abodes currently up for grabs, from the picturesque estate of a former television great, to a nature-loving beauty nestled in the woods.

#1: 1932 Beverly Hills Royalty

The former estate of late legendary producer Nick Vanoff—whose work includes ample hits including the Andy Williams Show, The Tonight Show with Steve Allen, and Sonny and Cher—this 8,800-square-foot, Mediterranean-style home is now on the market for $25 million.

Comprised of nine bedrooms and a dozen baths—plus a guesthouse and staff quarters—the residence features numerous French doors that open to views of the manicured gardens outside, where a motor court with space for 25 cars and a swimming pool (reminiscent of the Hotel Cipriani’s pool in Venice, it’s surrounded by a two-foot raised edge for seating) also lie.

#2: Julia Roberts’ Hawaiian Home

Once owned by sugar plantation manager Hans Peter Fayé, this well-preserved, 3,792-square-foot Hawaiian retreat is now on the market for $29.85 million, having recently been listed by none other than Hollywood actress Julia Roberts.

Julia Roberts Hanalei Bay Estate

Presently the only beachfront estate in Hanalei Bay up for grabs, the seven-bedroom, four-bath property sits on two acres with around 200 feet of beach. The home has been granted permits to expand its living space by 9,000 square feet, which allows for additional buildings and a swimming pool.

#3: Nashville Contemporary Treehouse

Sited on a woodsy hillside in Tennessee’s “Music City,” this three-story, 7,165-square-foot home—now listed at $3.5 million—consists of three bedrooms and five baths.

Primarily made of stacked limestone, the grown-up “treehouse” showcases steel-framed glass walls and a black-stained cedar facade, while its interior also features Chinese slate and reclaimed wood flooring, dotted with stone hearths. Aside from a secluded master suite, noteworthy facets of the rustic and contemporary home include a large gym and private glass-enclosed porch with a hot tub.

#4: Texas Resort Ranch Auction

Built at a cost of $15 million and completed in 2005, Timber Creek Ranch spans 346 acres, with 11 bedrooms and 15 baths spread across several structures sited on its grounds, including the main house, owner’s cabin, and a guest barn with a five-stall stable.

Other buildings include a five-bedroom guest lodge and million-dollar boathouse with four automatic lifts, a kitchen, and a fishing-pro shop. Set to go to a highest bidder on May 7th, the recreational swath—a fully-equipped and functional ranch with irrigated longhorn and horse pastures, a vineyard—offers 1,600 feet of lake frontage, along with a golf-driving range, archery course, paintball sites, a professional rifle range, in a rodeo-sized riding ring. Also included in the deal are 20 registered longhorns, two horses, and six miniature donkeys, along with all the equipment used to work and manage the ranch. Buying options include “ranch only,” “lake recreation area only,” or both halves combined.

#5: Rye Nature Preserve

Now priced at $2.2 million, this 5,108-square-foot house—enveloped by 1.69 acres of forest—was designed to showcase views of the surrounding woods and its outdoor waterfall and pool.

Rye Nature Preserve

Designed by notable architect Peter Smith, also known for his efforts as a conservationist, the contemporary home is constantly filled with light during the day thanks to raised skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows. Perhaps the residence’s coolest feature, however, is the tree sprouting beneath its glass-and-steel roof, serving as the focal point between the home’s open first-floor foyer, living room, and dining area.
