We recently reported that Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen purchased a swanky $27M mansion in the Bay Area, and now it seems he's ready to unload one of his lesser real estate holdings in Washington. This private island originally listed at $25M in 2005, then $13.5 in 2011, finally selling for $8M.

Allan Island (not named for it's owner), boasts 292 acres of uninterrupted beauty, a private dock and airstrip, views of the Olympic Mountains, Rosario Strait and Strait of Juan de Fuca and a teensy log cabin. Really, this property can be turned into anything. We're excited to see what the new owner has planned!
