The Los Angeles home, where America’s beloved blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe died in 1962, has been listed for $6,900,000, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Tucked behind tall gates at the end of a cul-de-sac in Brentwood, the 1929, four-bedroom, three-bathroom, hacienda-style house is located on a half-acre, with a pool and citrus orchard.

After her third marriage to playwright Arthur Miller, Monroe bought the 2,624-square-foot estate, partially furnished, in the early 1960s for $75,000.

Designed with beamed ceilings, terra cotta tile floors, casement windows, the listing states, it was the first home that she owned independently of a husband.

The residence’s recent owner purchased it in 2010 for $3.85 million.
