This $4 Million Greenwich Village Loft Comes with Chute and Ladders

After advertising star Joon Yong Park had his first kid, he installed a slide and playhouse in his stunning Greenwich Village loft. According to a 2013 interview with Adage, Park “didn’t want his three-year-old son Dylan to miss out on any potential tree house adventures,” so he built one on East 11th Street.

More a climbing and learning structure than a treehouse, the kid-friendly area features a wooden slide as egress from a miniature lofted area with chalkboard wall, under which a two-seater desk is installed.

Grownups may delight in a rolling library ladder with tracks in a kitchen/dining area and living room with exposed brick, and a bathroom with ample shelving. A deep-soak tub and breakfast nook are added perks.

Park is presently asking $3.995 million for the one-of-a-kind apartment, which he bought for $1.925 million in 2011 and renovated with the help of James Ramsey of Raad and Lowline.
