Set in downtown Islamorada on 5.24 acres, Conrad Hilton's custom houseboat—currently on sale for $6.25 million—is a genuine 60-foot Chris Craft vessel that contains a stateroom, two baths, a galley kitchen, and a salon on its first deck, and a four-bunk stateroom on its second.

Accented with bright furnishings and mint detailing, the hotelier's Gilmore Estate—known as the Bay Bourne Houseboat by locals—was originally docked next door at the Cheeca Lodge during the 1960s, when Hurricane Donna's arrival caused it to break away from her mooring and swept her onto land. The craft was then rolled on telephone poles to its current permanent resting spot on the beach.

The one-of-a-kind 959-square-foot property has entertained a number of notables in the past, including former presidents George Bush Sr. and Harry Truman, who wrote many of the famed Truman Letters while aboard the boat.
