Elena Bluntzer is a resident of Miami and Fisher Island, Florida. She has specialized in listing and sales of luxury waterfront properties in South Florida, specifically on Fisher Island, Miami, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, and Coral Gables, for over 34 years. Prior to joining ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, Bluntzer served as founder and president of The Bluntzer Group for 19 years, where she built a distinguished brokerage with more than $1 Billion in sales including record-breaking transactions on Fisher Island and in Gables Estates, Coral Gables. Haute Residence caught up with Bluntzer to discuss Fisher Island's upcoming residence, Palazzo Della Luna and how Fisher Island's lifestyle is like no other:
What makes Palazzo Della Luna such a terrific place to live or invest in?
Palazzo Della Luna located along Government Cut on Fisher Island is the last building being built on the Island and it is shaping up as the most luxurious out of all the buildings built here to date. However, because it is on Fisher Island buyers for this property will also be able to enjoy all the amenities of the Island. Palazzo Della Luna will feature a concierge, a sunrise pool and a sunset pool, a Central park located between it and Palazzo del Sol and an Aperitivo bar which has proven to be a popular amenity in PDS and will be repeated in Palazzo Della Luna for the exclusive enjoyment of the residents. Each unit comes with its own golf cart as is the standard on Fisher Island.
What makes this condominium so unique in terms of its amenities?
Palazzo Della Luna has amenities that majority of the other buildings on Fisher Island do not have because they were originally built to offer a more casual lifestyle. However, the full-service concierge, valet service, etc of this building are all perks that many clients now prefer to have. Buyers for Fisher Island have more options than before: They can live directly beachfront in Oceanside or overlooking the city skyline in Bayside or Bayview. The fact is that no matter where on the Island one chooses to live there is no inferior location here.
Why would you recommend investing in Palazzo Della Luna as opposed to one of the other luxury developments that are going up all across Miami and South Florida?
When one is focused on investing in real estate that offers a complete lifestyle one is not focused on getting the best deal but rather on buying into what that lifestyle offers. Comparing prices on Fisher Island to prices in other luxury buildings around Miami and Miami Beach it quickly becomes clear to potential buyers that not only are Fisher Island condos competitively priced but there is absolutely no other property in the country that offers what Fisher Island offers - luxury, security, private beaches, six restaurants, golf, the Spa Internazionale, one of the best Racquet Clubs in the world which includes grass, clay, and Har-Tru courts, and two deep-water marinas just to name a few. It’s a healthy lifestyle that non-fulltime residents look forward to returning to every season. Once my clients realize the differences between Fisher Island and other luxury properties, they become convinced of the value of the investment on the Island.
What is your projection on this property and its growth in both 5 years and then again in 10 plus years?
As a 25 year resident and Equity member of Fisher Island, I have personal experience of the lifestyle of which I speak. There is no other place in South Florida or in the country with the privacy and exclusivity that Fisher Island has yet it is located just minutes from Miami International Airport and Opa Locka private jet airport. It encompasses the luxurious, sought-after amenities required by the caliber of buyers that seek a respite from city living while also enjoying the perfect Miami climate. I believe Palazzo Della Luna will stand the test of time, as has the entire Island since it was developed. There’s a reason why Fisher Island attracts the world’s most discerning buyers and is once again the richest Zip Code in America - it stands alone in its magnificence.
