The news marks Alatriste's departure from an almost decade-long tenure at Engel & Völkers. Having sold over $130 million in 2019 and recognized by the WSJ among the Top Ten agents nationwide in 2019, Alatriste has represented some of Miami’s most noteworthy properties and holds the distinction of most sales in Palm Island.

"My decision to join Douglas Elliman was based on the strength of its presence, both nationally and internationally," says Alatriste. "I have deep roots in the international real estate market and its partnership with Knight Frank is bar none. What Douglas Elliman has established here is exactly what I want for myself and most importantly for my clients. Douglas Elliman also provides a multitude of impressive platforms to effectively market properties and properly service our global clientele through their best-in-class technology, marketing, and public relations departments."

Among her highlights from last year are Cher's former home at 54 La Gorce Drive, listed for nearly $20 million; a penthouse listing at Oceana for almost $22 million; and a $13.9 million home in Islamorada.

Previous clients of Alatriste include basketball greats Chris Bosh and Alonzo Mourning of the Miami Heat, Leah and Roy Black, and watch expert Rick de la Croix.

As head of the Alatriste Group, she is being joined in the change by her team, Mariana Martinez, head of operations, and Renier Casanova, to work from Douglas Elliman's Coral Gables offices.
