The Hidden Hills, which boast privacy and seclusion, are famed for their celebrity appeal. With neighborhoods including a-list Hollywood stars, celebrated television personalities, musicians, renowned athletic big-shots, and social media moguls on their rosters, the Hidden Hills is undoubtedly a haven in the midst of Hollywood. Though the Hidden Hills are certainly known to attract the illustrious, more and more stars seem to search for someplace else to call their home. Most recently, acclaimed singer, actress, and personality, Miley Cyrus, has sold her fully renovated Hidden Hills mansion for $7.22 million after only having had it for just under a year.
Miley’s former mansion was originally constructed in 1957 and features an open floor plan and East Coast traditional style. Its structure was renovated and remodeled in 2018, prior to Cyrus’s purchase, to include an updated kitchen and family room, pool and spa area, outdoor dining location, barbecue, and a unique mercury glass bar and wine fridge. The six-bedroom and six-bathroom estate spans 6,394 square feet and includes an outdoor patio and luxurious grotto-style pool.
Though Miley Cyrus’ mansion turnover seems exceedingly quick, the “Malibu” singer is rumored to potentially make her move to that significant-to-her coastal community, or perhaps, Miley cuts her Hidden Hills ties in preparation to resume touring following her July 4th appearance in Las Vegas as the pandemic comes to a close. Cyrus also appears on Chicago’s Lollapalooza setlist as well as Napa’s BottleRock Festival. Regardless of Miley’s upcoming whereabouts, one thing is clear, the music magnate made her mark on her now flipped, former Hidden Hills mansion.
At the time of Cyrus’ purchase, for just below $5 million in June of 2020, the interior of her property boasted clean lines, neutral palettes, and traditional wooden flooring. Though Cyrus appreciated the framework, the rock star had to add her dynamic maximalist style to transform the home. Miley has been outspoken about her flair for color, pattern, and vibrancy, and her recently sold manor reflects that. Miley’s one-of-a-kind additions leave the home complete with eye-catching rainbow plush furniture, artwork, and home decor, contrasted by striking darker-toned walls. She also swapped in funkier lighting fixtures and colorful personal touches like a violet carpet for ultimate panache. Miley’s custom former master bedroom is all about drama: after ascending a floating staircase you’ll find a bedroom complete with a private balcony, fireplace, dual-sink marble bathroom with a vanity, and the cherry on top, an expansive walk-in closet. Miley made the most of her home space with eccentric and fun wallpapers featuring tiger heads, leopard print, and various other unconventional and sometimes psychedelic patterns; these playful and bold spaces are contrasted with more neutral, peaceful areas throughout the home, such as the gym and pool vicinities. Finally, Miley added in a sensational recording studio as a deeply personal, and for her, functional, touch.
The chic and iconic high-end rocker design enticed a stylish and special buyer landing Cyrus a profit of over $2 million. It is unclear whether or not the star will continue to renovate properties in the future, though it definitely seems that she’s got an eye for it. Cyrus continues to own a vast 33-acre Nashville ranch and an impressive home in Studio City, CA.
