The conference is being held at the InterContinental Miami Hotel, with satellite events happening throughout the week at exciting venues around the city, including Nikki Beach.

As Americans have reimagined their living and working spaces over the past two years, interior design has shifted and been elevated to new levels of importance. Open to ASID members and non-members alike, GATHER offers a space for all sectors of interior design—practitioners, educators, students, and design enthusiasts, to explore how design is shaped by the social and cultural context of our times.

"GATHER is a vital addition to the existing industry slate of shows and events, acting as a hub for inspiration and education bringing together all sectors of design,” said Gary Wheeler, CEO of ASID, FASID. “By uniting commercial to residential, student to educator, designer to industry partner, GATHER will transcend all areas of the profession to unify the allied design community.”

GATHER offers a a space to network, learn, discuss, and socialize, to any and all that are part of the interior design community. The conference's events and agenda will revolve around the four key pillars currently impacting interior designers: the changing work environment; adaptive and multi-generational living; leading through challenging times; and climate, health and equity, including diversity and inclusion.

Wheeler went on to add, "More than 50 percent of our engagement at GATHER will be peer learning, networking and problem solving. We’re reimagining the typical panel format of learning— as opposed to speakers on one side and audience on the other, it will be a fully engaged group with the opportunity for all participants to learn from each other collectively."
