At 86, English pop singer Engelbert Humperdinck started the process of selling his home in Bel-Air. Though he originally listed the home in May for $6.2 million, he has accepted an offer for $4.05 million giving him a good profit considering he originally bought the house in 2005 for $2.99 million.
Allisun Sturges from FrontGate Real Estate facilitated the sale of the home and told Haute Residence, "I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been of service in the sale of this home, as its owner, and his family, are as dear to my heart as my own". The house was shared with her by David Kessler of Coldwell Banker Realty.
Humperdinck was said to have received multiple offers while it has been on the market, but at the moment, the house is in 30-day escrow and the sale is in process.

The house itself is stunning. It is at the top of Bel Air Road, allowing the owner of the home to have 180-degree views of the surrounding canyons and the downtown LA area. Every main room has a stunning canyon view, and there is also a patio that overlooks the area with a glass-enclosed sun porch.

The home itself is 5,602 square feet and was originally built in the 1990s. The front door opens to a double-height foyer.

The buyer is artist and designer Elicia Castaldi, Founder of the brand Girl w/ Knife, who is branding the estate as “Knife/House”, her third in a series of “concept homes” featured by HGTV. The buyer’s representative is Brett Miller of Nourmand & Associates.
