Real estate development firm Ytech recently announced The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story giant tower amongst Miami’s iconic skyline. Cervera Real Estate heads sales for the property along with John Moriarty Associates as the general contractor. The Residences mark a revolution in real estate as the first ever residential high-rise to use solar energy. 500 windows along the tower’s west side integrate photovoltaic glazing, making use of glass to preserve this carbon-reducing technology. Trailblazing this venture, Ytech chose renowned firm Cosentini Associates as the project’s solar energy consultant.
