Lizzo, who's real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, just bought a home in the Beverly Hills area for $15 million. The home was originally built in 1967, but has been renovated and updated many times since then.
Previously, Harry Styles owned the house but he sold it in 2016. Simo Design bought the home from him for $3,175,000 and completely renovated the whole house. Simo Design is a husband and wife team, Sam Gnatovich and Alexi Rennalis, are a well-known L.A. team and have designed homes for people like Jon Hamm and Nicole Richie as well.
After renovating the Beverly Hills home, they sold the property in 2019 for $11 million to Aaron Bay-Schuck who is the CEO of Warner Records. The house was put on the market again after just three years, and this time, Lizzo purchased the home.
The home is reminiscent of a modern treehouse with a unique design that is primarily made from wood and glass. There are stone elements and other natural materials, but they are primarily used to add style or as central features. The home is located inside a secure gated community and is surrounded by old and tall oak trees, so the design team wanted to reflect that history in this house.
One of the ways they did this was an atrium that opens up directly to the outside, with a live tree in the space. It is right next to the dining room, allowing for a fresh breeze, and a little bit of nature, even while eating.
Though it is designed as an homage to nature, it isn't lacking space or lavish features. This home has 5,442 square feet of living space. That space includes 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with 3 of them being full bathrooms.g
The main suite alone is 1,000 square feet and is connected to the rest of the home with a glass breezeway. It sits above the outdoor dining area and the spa. Other features in the home include a gallery with lots of open windows that could easily be converted to suit any other purpose, a home theater that features a fireplace and lots of tech, and an infinity pool that extends 58 feet. The pool is also hidden from view, so it is a nice and relaxing space for anyone in the home.

Neighbors of Lizzo's new home include Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, Channing Tatum, and Lisa Vanderpump. Lizzo will fit right in after becoming a hit sensation three years ago and winning a Grammy for her music. She also received an Emmy for her reality competition show "Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls".
Before this, Lizzo lived in Echo Park in a mansion that cost $26 million. It isn't clear whether she is planning on selling the home or keeping it yet.
