The brilliant mind behind Modern Family's witty humor, executive producer Danny Zuker, has decided to sell his home. The executive producer along with accomplished photographer Annette Lombardi bid adieu to their 5,725 square foot Manhattan Beach home, raking in a sum that Phil Dunphy would be proud of, at $10,500,000.

Alluding to the home’s previous owner, Zuker dubbed the home the “Shaq House'' as it had previously been rented by Shaquille O’Neill in his early Laker days. The home also once belonged to Major League Baseball pitcher Ken Brett, the second of four Brett brothers to play professionally. To move the home onto the next owners, Kris Lastition of Strand Hill Forbes Global Properties presented the estate.

Located in the area’s exclusive Hill Section at 501 John Street, this Manhattan beach home boasts breathtaking ocean views and spectacular interiors with a front-row experience of the California coast. The luxurious 5-bedroom, 8-bath home spans three levels and is exceptionally versatile, catering to a work-hard play-hard style of living. The residence offers a perfect blend of cozy nights and exciting entertainment with its sparkling pool and spa, built-in BBQ, circular fire pit, and pool house. At the same time, the home caters to productive remote work, courtesy of its two fully equipped offices.

The lavish primary suite offers stunning glimpses of the ocean and Palos Verdes views, accompanied by a grand stone fireplace and a lavish bathroom equipped with a soaking tub and a steam shower. The home also showcases exquisite finishes and materials throughout. Noteworthy features include custom white oak and stone floors, as well as beautifully crafted bespoke cabinetry that was added when the home underwent an extensive renovation. After its original construction in the 80s, the modernization added the perfect additions to the perfect location just moments from downtown Manhattan Beach's superb restaurants, shopping, and top-rated schools.
