The award-winning hospitality group Mandarin Oriental further expands into the Spanish market through prestigious projects in Madrid and Mallorca. With recent record-breaking success, Mandarin Oriental unveiled its new Barcelona residences marking their first-ever international standalone residential complex and first branded residence. The 20-story building presented an unpresented new achievement with its $40 million penthouse, the most expensive apartment sold in Barcelona's history. Mandarin Oriental now operates 40 hotels and 12 residences across 26 countries and territories.
Following remarkable heights in Barcelona, the esteemed hospitality group announces the development of their latest residential project in Madrid. Expected to open in Summer 2025, the highly anticipated property will feature 30 luxurious apartments with an emphasis on local culture and innovative design.

This marks the global brand’s second project in collaboration with Blasson, an esteemed Spanish development company, and the first with Pictet Alternative Advisors, an investment division of Swiss private bank Pictet. The project will be completed by acclaimed architectural firm Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos, with interiors by Belen Domecq and Cosmic Studio. Pablo Granell, Head of Real Estate with Pictet for Spain and Portugal, claims, “[this] will be one of the most iconic residential projects in Spain, contributing to the transformation of the already very dynamic and vibrant city of Madrid.”

Strategically located in the heart of the Salamanca neighborhood, the property will be surrounded by luxury retail, lively bars and restaurants, and leisure facilities. Spanning over seven floors, The Residences will boast two and three-bedroom units with a private balcony for picturesque views of the cityscape. Six of the units will also feature private pools. Exclusive upscale amenities include a residence lounge, beauty salon, spa, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, and lush landscaped garden.
