A slew of jaw-dropping celebrity homes inundated the real estate market in 2014, from Steve Martin's spectacular island paradise on St. Barths, to Heidi Klum's fairytale villa in Los Angeles.

Here we take a look back at five of the most enviable estates unloaded by A-listers in the past year, as presented by our good friends at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

Pharrell Williams' Miami Penthouse

Listed at $10.999 million, singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams' Brickell penthouse—poised 40 stories above Biscayne Bay atop Bristol Tower—boasts 10,000 square feet of interior living space including five bedrooms and seven baths, in addition to 5,000 square feet of terraces, a rooftop pool, and a second-level summer kitchen.

The award-winning hip-hop and R&B artist—who purchased the condo in 2007 for $12.525 million—spruced up the residence with his impressive art and furniture collection, transforming it into a personalized palace. The home touts stunning 360-degree views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Key Biscayne, and Miami.

Renée Zellweger's Connecticut Farmhouse

Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger's 39-acre, 1770s farm—The Cotton Tavern—originally hit the market for $1.6 million: a figure that has since been reduced to $1.35 million.

Set on a bucolic swath, the small-town girl's Colonial-style residence has 3,400 square feet of living space, comprised of three bedrooms, a wood-paneled library, a country kitchen, a guesthouse, and a 2,000-square-foot barn. The estate also touts a swimming pool, a post-and-rail fence, stone walls, lush gardens overlooking the Quinebaug River, and a 2,000-square-foot barn that serves as a building for recreation. Though Zellweger has spent a great deal of time and money restoring the home into a contemporary gem, she has managed to preserve much of its original structure.

Heidi Klum's Romantic Villa

Former Victoria's Secret angel Heidi Klum originally bought this charming, Tuscan-style home in Brentwood as a foreclosure in 2010 for $14.2 million.

The residence, which sits on 8.4 acres, offers unparalleled peace and privacy, not to mention beautiful views of the Pacific.

Katharine Hepburn's Old Saybrook Home

The residence where legendary actress Katharine Hepburn spent her summers (and lived in full-time for seven years until her death in 2003 at 96) originally hit the market at $28 million, but is now listed for nearly half the price at $14.8 million.

Katharine Hepburn's Long Island Home

Though the original structure was destroyed by a hurricane in 1938, Hepburn rebuilt the abode, which was further renovated in 2005 by New York builder Frank Sciame. The 8,368-square-foot beach house—which comes with its own private dock and over 680 feet of shoreline—consists of 15 ocean-inspired rooms including six bedrooms and eight baths, dotted with seven fireplaces and surrounded by expansive porches and verandas overlooking gorgeous views. Across from the charming home's entrance sits three acres of conservation land with a large pond.

Steve Martin's Island Paradise

Funnyman Steve Martin's Villa Au Soleil on St. Barth's originally hit the market last year at $11.59 million, a figure that has since been reduced to $8.91 million.

The tranquil getaway—which overlooks pink-roofed homes, a boat harbor, and the Atlantic Ocean from atop its hillside perch in Lurin—sits on a half-acre of land. The island-style house's four bedrooms, which are complete with en-suite baths, are equipped with outdoor showers that open to their own terraces through covered floor-to-ceiling shutters. The master bedroom also has an outdoor shower and a hot tub on its private terrace. Among the home's other notable features are multi-level terraces and a two-tiered infinity pool. A caretaker's studio also sits on its grounds.
