Want to own a little bit of history? This home was where Chicago gangster Al Capone retired (and sadly passed) after his release from Alcatraz. Featuring 10,000 square feet of living space, the Palm Island property offers heavy wooden doors, concrete walls, an intense gatehouse, a beautiful pool with waterfront views, mature palm trees and sweeping lawns.

The home was originally built in 1922 by Clarence Busch of the Anheuser-Busch family, and the home underwent a substantial renovation somewhere in the late ‘90s or early 2000s.

Albert Justo of Sotheby’s International Realty has the listing.
