In 1988, Aman and Amanpuri first delved into branded residences with fully-serviced living experiences, which has since expanded into vast urban and resort offerings across remarkable destinations. Now, the renowned hospitality group has unveiled their first standalone branded residence, Aman Residences, Tokyo. With the initial phase of Aman Residences, Tokyo fully committed, select remaining units are available following the recent second phase of sales.
Located in the Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, Aman Residence, Tokyo stands as the tallest residential building in Japan with 91 fully serviced apartments. The property’s architecture was designed by Pritzker prized Pelli Clarke & Partners with interiors by Yabu Pushelberg. The arrival lobby boasts a suspended sculpture above a reflection pond serving as a connection to nature amidst the bustling cityscape.
The natural world and its tranquil elements serve as the primary design concept following Aman’s continued tie to local culture and heritage. The soothing aesthetic is reflected in the interior palette with muted tones reminiscent of the earth's layers. For a dynamic touch and additional texture, the Japanese design of the space is intertwined with Western sensibility through a thoughtfully curated art display.
Following Aman’s unparalleled service, the residence presents hotel like programming with an assortment of luxurious amenities. The property offers an elevated lifestyle through the lounge, bar, private dining room, tea room, library, reading room, media room and games room. Further, the Aman Spa features an impressive pool, sauna, relaxation room, treatment rooms, and state of the art gym.
Vlad Doronin, Chairman, CEO and Owner of Aman Group, shares this project “represents a deep immersion into the Aman lifestyle in the heart of the city and sets a new standard for luxury residences not just in Japan but globally.” Aman currently boasts 13 branded residence locations with an additional ten destinations in coming years.
