A Beverly Hills estate once inhabited by the legendary King of Rock ‘N Roll Elvis Presley is up for grabs for $30 million.
Presley and his wife Priscilla Presley lived in the 5,400-square-foot, French Regency-style residence at 1174 Hillcrest Road from 1967 to 1973, according to the listing.
In 2012, Hard Rock Cafe founder Peter Morton purchased Presley’s former abode for $9.8 million with the intent to tear it down the home, which was built in 1958, and rebuild on the property. Objections by the public prevented Morton’s plan, so he sold the estate in 2014 to an undisclosed buyer, who renovated it for $14.5 million.
A long driveway and four-car motor court lead to the estate, situated atop a coveted 1.18 acres in a quiet cul-de-sac within the exclusive Trousdale Estates community. The light-filled interior is designed with high ceilings, hardwood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows and includes an elegant master suite, two additional bedrooms, five bathrooms, and several fireplaces.
Outstanding panoramic views of the city can be seen from a spacious outdoor patio and entertaining area with a fireplace, resurfaced pool and spa, and lawns.
