Breakwater Hospitality Group’s Riverside Wharf Takes Design Inspiration From The Miami River

The Miami-based Breakwater Hospitality Group, owners of the iconic Miami River destination The Wharf, is partnering with renowned architect firm CUBE3 for their latest project: Riverside Wharf.

Since 2018, Breakwater Hospitality Group has committed itself to bringing world-class beverages and dining to some of Florida’s hottest destinations. Transcending what it means to be a hospitality group, Breakwater has instilled their projects with a sense of community and culture, creating spaces that act as a gathering point for Miami residents and travelers alike.

The upcoming Riverside Wharf will be continuing this mission in a big way: looking to embody the bold, colorful spirit of the Miami area, architects at CUBE3 have turned to one of the city's most significant landmarks for inspiration — the Miami River. The design for Riverside Wharf will be defined by its bold, modern concrete forms made to mimic the natural flow and movement of the historic river seated just beside the structure. With an intricate weathered-steel facade at the front of the building and a thoughtful selection of the structure’s materials and forms, Riverside Wharf will pay homage to the river’s workers and fishers, a craft deeply embedded in Miami culture.

Breakwater Hospitality Group’s newest riverside project promises to be nothing short of incredible. The area will include a variety of dining options, a Dream Hotel, a nightclub, a marina, a range of venue spaces, and much more. With an aesthetic vision meant to capture the Miami spirit and an unbeatable waterfront location, Riverside Wharf will act both as a social focal point and eye-catching addition to one of Miami’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
