Known as Villa Eden Del Mar, the Pebble Beach property is a local landmark that once evoked descriptions like “a Spanish Palace by the sea,” according to its listing with the Carmel Realty Company. Designed by George Washington Smith, the estate "embodies the provenance of 1920s' aristocracy," said listing agent Shelly Mitchell Lynch.
Located on the famous 17-Mile Drive along the Monterey Coast, the compound sprawls on 2.8 acres and affords spectacular vistas of the jagged shore and the Pacific Ocean, accessible via stone steps.

The seller of the property is the trust of the late Feathers, who purchased the estate in 1972. Originally from Nebraska, the couple moved to California to start is fitness and wellness empire of gyms and salons.
