When Troon Pacific scooped up this Green Street abode back in 2010, it wasn't because the real estate development company fell in love with it at first sight. Back then, the San Franciscan home—which hadn't been sold in 53 years—could be poetically described as quaint and old-world, at best. Four years later, however—following an extensive (and much needed) renovation—the once-outdated residence is downright unrecognizable and drop-dead gorgeous.
Its magnificent revamp, which cost the firm $3.1 million, has splendidly upped the property's value to $13 million—more than triple its original price.
