In 2005 and 2006, Jeter also purchased two adjacent lots in Tampa and in 2011, constructed the largest and most expensive house built in the area. Due to the size and stature of the estate, it has been dubbed the title of “St. Jetersburg” after the nearby city of St. Petersburg. The lavish estate was reportedly served as a rental home for NFL superstar Tom Brady and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen before being listed on the market in September of 2020 at $29 million. The deal recently closed at a final price of $22.5 million marking it as the largest residential sale in the Tampa Bay area.

Spanning 1.25 acres of lush land, Jeter’s 22,000 square foot custom built estate is one of the largest waterfront properties in Tampa with seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and eight half-bathrooms. The lavish walled mansion highlights security, privacy, entertainment, and luxury. Beyond the double solid hardwood doors, the space opens to 24-foot foyer with floor-to-ceiling glass offering a scenic view of the bay. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with two islands, four dishwashers, four sinks, walk-in pantry, and high-end appliances. The home’s interior layout includes a wine cellar, home theater, professional gym, in-law suite, au pair wing with living space and kitchen, outdoor kitchen, grilling area, full home generator, and an air-conditioned six car garage. An “owner’s retreat” is an additional feature including fireplaces, seating area, two custom closets, and private balcony. Decorative elements of the custom home include hardwood millwork, hand-polished Venetian plaster, silk draperies, and mosaic tiles. The property’s entertainment options are abundant with a clubroom, full-service bar, and billiards. Stepping outside, the nearly 9,000 square feet of exterior space includes porches, balconies, dock. two boatlifts, heated spa, saltwater lap pool, and picturesque landscaping.
