The much-awaited royal Coronation Festival in Britain has given designers one more reason to celebrate: Brintons, a UK-based design firm, have been chosen to create a 1950s-style living room in Buckingham Palace. The room will be inspired by the ‘Net and Ball’ design featured in the Royal Festival Hall foyer during the 1951 Festival of Britain. WIDN reports that during the reveal, Brintons will launch a rug collection entitled The Coronation Rug Collection with their personal ‘High Definition Weave technology.’
