The community vibe is...welcoming and diverse. Miami Beach is a fusion of different cultures and languages, which is what sets us apart. You can stroll down any street and experience different parts of the world. Best of all, there is a strong sense of community, which makes Miami Beach a great place to live.

The lifestyle offered is...bespoke. The Miami Beach lifestyle is really tailored to its residents. From a posh day cruising on a yacht, to a casual afternoon barbecuing by the pool, residents can take their pick. Combining that with our outstanding warm, sunny weather, the choices are endless.

The most popular building type you’ll find is...modern. Driving around the beach, you’ll see gorgeous modern new construction: glass, steal, white walls, lush landscaping. The city has also done a wonderful job preserving historic art deco buildings. The combination of the two adds to the already stunning Miami Beach scenery.

The area’s best driving-distance getaways are…Islamorada in the Florida Keys, which is an hour and a half scenic drive south. World-class scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and an abundance of other water sports make for a fun-filled getaway. Adding in excellent beachfront lodging and luxurious hospitality make this laid-back destination a top choice. In addition to the Keys, the Everglades are an excellent choice. Experience the only American subtropical wilderness in a number of ways, including via boat, airplane, van, airboat, bicycle, and walking tours.

The best spot to dine fancy is…

One of my favorite places is Estiatorio Milos Miami by Costas Spiliadis on South of Fifth. You can catch me there at least once a week. Milos is recognized as one of the finest Mediterranean seafood restaurants in the world with destinations in Montreal, New York, Athens, Las Vegas, London, and Miami. If you haven’t been there, it’s a must-try, and take advantage of its prix fixe $25 lunch menu.

The best spot to find entertainment is…

Miami Beach is all about people watching. Whether you’re hanging out at Prime 112 or Joe’s Stone Crab, going for a stroll at South Pointe Park, or lounging at the beach, there’s something to see everywhere you look. Shops stay open late, so there’s plenty of time for great finds without missing out on club hopping.

The best spot to go shopping is…

The iconic Lincoln Road offers some of the best shopping in Miami Beach. Enjoy an alfresco afternoon browsing one hip store after the other. Or, check out the new shopping district in Sunset Harbour: a two-block loop overlooking Biscayne Bay, featuring locally-owned fashion boutiques like Frankie, Sunset Clothing Co., and Eberjey. And if you get hungry, there is always an award-winning restaurant nearby.

The best place to tee off is…at either Miami Beach or La Gorce Golf Clubs, you can’t go wrong. Miami Beach Golf Club has been around since 1923. Originally designed as part of Carl Fisher’s master plan of a dream winter oasis, these greens still draw in golfers from around the world. Restored to its original glory, you can tee off in the heart of Miami Beach. La Gorce Golf Club is a few minutes north. A members-only club boasting a tight-knit community many locals call their “home away from home.” La Gorce features a world-renowned “Learning Center,” where golfers can fine tune their game with the professional golf staff.
