Nicole has an international presence that makes her an integral part of ONE Sotheby’s as the only true international real estate brokerage. She travels to Italy every year and is fluent in Italian which has put her at the forefront to manage an influx of international buyers in new construction.
Here she gives some fast facts to Haute Residence about her real estate journey and why she loves South Florida.
Why did you choose Real Estate?
I have always had a strong appreciation for architecture and interior design which is what initially led me into the real estate industry. Growing up, my parents built multiple homes, one being in Beaver Creek, Colorado where I grew up most of my life becoming a skier. Being able to be a part of that process is how I began to understand what goes into finding and buying the right lot and deciding on different materials, fixtures, and more.
After interning in interior design, I then discovered where my true passion lies. I realized nothing is more satisfying than finding the perfect home or investment property for my clients in beautiful sunny South Florida. Being a South Florida native and living on the water all of my life has allowed me to gain all the knowledge I need to guide clients into finding what suits them best and makes them feel at home.
What is your biggest success story to date?
One of my biggest success stories is competing against two iconic, local top producers in waterfront properties and closing the listing for $15 million, in one of the most prestigious waterfront neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale. In turn, The OG’s as a team has hosted the mansion hospitality event of the largest boat show in the world, Fort Lauderdale, where they partnered with Whispering Angel Rosé, Oro Caviar, Hotel Collection, and local town magazines while also being placed in an editorial cover piece with a top producers magazine.
I am also very proud to be a part of ONE Sotheby's development division and represent 5-star hospitality names. Not only do I focus on general residential real estate in South FL, but I am also lucky enough to be on the team that sells Rosewood at Baha Mar in Nassau Bahamas, as well as Solterre which is located in St. Kitts. I am also part of a development team that is building in the mountains in North Carolina and Turks & Caicos.
What makes your market unique?
What makes South FL a unique market is that people are never going to stop moving here because of the many benefits that Florida has to offer. The lack of a state income tax and the beautiful weather is what bring a lot of people to our state. Miami is now the best US city for foreign businesses as well and over 120 companies have relocated to the city in the last two years bringing many new residents with them. Fishing, boating, outdoor activities, sports, world-renowned restaurants, and top events such as Formula 1, Art Basel, The Boat Show, exciting music events, and much more are just a minute part of what makes South FL a unique and special place.
