With over forty years of experience in real estate, Greg split his professional career between residential and commercial development. After earning his real estate M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, he invested a quarter of a century in residential & commercial retail real estate and was part of the development team responsible for landmark U.S. retail projects like the $625 million USD Academy Awards’ venue, Hollywood & Highland. Greg later cofounded a retail development services firm involved with the development of internationally renowned U.S. shopping meccas from The Forum Shops in Las Vegas to Houston Galleria, housing luxury tenants like Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, and other premier brands.

Why did you choose Real Estate?
I've been building homes with my own hands since I was 15, was then a residential architect and then a developer all my career, it was a natural transition.
What was your journey to where you are today?
I moved to our expat community not knowing what I would do for a career. The local Coldwell Banker broker recruited me as his first Realtor when he opened the office, I grew to become #2 in Mexico for that master franchise before calling Warren Buffett's team to inquire about opening the brand's first franchise in Mexico.
What is your biggest success story to date?
Only one?! May I share two? I have Santa Barbara clients who had lost their 30% over-asking bid on a $3.2MM condo there. They came here and I found them a single-family home five times the size for less than half that figure at $2MM USD, they were amazed and thrilled at the value San Miguel de Allende offers! And my second one is about to become a success when it sells: I’m pleased to have been chosen as the sole Luxury Broker to represent my city’s most expensive listing in the history of the city, a Starchitect Ricardo Legorreta listing (shown below), the only one in the entire nation. Gaining the listing alone was a success, now selling it becomes the next success!”
