What’s the most popular amenity or property feature buyers look for in a summer home?
Each buyer has his or her specific requirements, but the most requested is an ocean view and proximity to beaches. On Anguilla, government restrictions do not allow us to build private villas directly on the beach as it is reserved for commercial properties (i.e. hotel and condominium resorts). [Consequently], rocky coastline and inland properties on elevated parcels with ocean views are the [most popular].

Modern kitchens and bathrooms are requested by almost all buyers, so renovations in those areas yield the greatest price boost.
