Walls of glass and double-height ceilings beautifully frame Atlantic Ocean panoramas from the interiors of this contemporary showpiece in the clouds. The Upper North Sky Villa at Jade Signature – Miami’s most architecturally extraordinary oceanfront address – is a work of art in and of itself, marked by custom designs by Meyer Davis.

Offered turnkey at $16.5 million, the home is a jewel within the extremely private condominium – regarded as one of the most sought-after residential buildings in the world. Well-sited on the pristine sands of Sunny Isles Beach, the tower’s design unites the renowned talents of four of industry’s greatest collaborators: Developer and luxury real estate leader Fortune International Group, Pritzker prize-winning architecture firm, Herzog & de Meuron, Parisian interior design firm PYR, led by Pierre-Yves Rochon, and landscape architect Raymond Jungles Inc.

Inside Jade Signature’s Upper North Sky Villa, five bedrooms and six and a half baths are spread throughout 6,509 square feet of flow-through space, meticulously crafted to bring the outdoors in. Natural light pours into the living areas through floor-to-ceiling windows, while 1,407 square feet of terraces frame views of the ocean, surrounding city and Intracoastal Waterway.

In addition to living room ceilings stretching 20 feet in height, the home is accentuated by a collection of fine amenities and finishes. In the kitchen, handcrafted Snaidero® cabinetry sits alongside top-of-the-line Gaggenau® and Sub-Zero® kitchen appliances, while the master baths – dramatically extended by oceanfront terraces – feature PYR custom-designed cabinetry and modern twin basins.

In producing and hand-picking furnishings and fixtures for this particular residence, Meyer Davis was chiefly inspired by the building’s ocean views and proximity to the beach. Rich and vibrant polished metals – as well as custom rugs with gold accents – were incorporated into the interiors to bring a metropolitan edge to the unit’s neutral palette. Wallcoverings were used in nearly every living area, not only to provide a sense of warmth within the space, but to create a rich textural quality.

Additional room-by-room highlights include the first-floor guest bedroom, known as the “astronomy room,” with artwork over the bed that depicts an eclipse, a palette of silver, gray and muted tones to reflect the moon, a celestial rug from Mooi, and a telescope. The upstairs queen bedroom is the “equestrian room,” adorned with rich leathers, brass ceiling fixtures and lamps. Above the bed, fabric by Hermès depicts horses on parade at the racetrack. The twin bedroom, the “nautical room,” has custom Hermès pillows made in the Voiliers design. Finally, the master bedroom has a custom embossed leather headboard with a polished brass inlay, and the custom vanity has been paired with a deep blue navy chair to speak to the ocean tones.
