John Fogerty Buys Garish Mediterranean Manse with Salt Water Pool

Creedence Clearwater Revival star John Fogerty just purchased this, well, unusual looking Mediterranean-inspired mansion in Thousand Oaks, CA. The residence is dripping with a combination of rustic and gaudy flare and features pillars, heavy window treatments, chandeliers and lots of unusually dated-looking furniture.

Defining features of the property include seven bedrooms, a large salt-water pool, wine closet for 500+ bottles, open-air gazebo, “man cave” and incredible views, and Fogerty snagged the property for about $8.95M.

Though we’re not sure it’s his style (and desperately hope he redecorates), the home has plenty of potential.
