Laurene Powell Jobs, billionaire businesswoman and founder of Emerson Collective, a philanthropy, advocacy and investment-based organization, has acquired a record-breaking three-story mansion in San Francisco.

The 17,286 square-foot residence is located near Presidio Park in the neighborhood of Pacific Heights, better known as “Billionaires Row”. Some noteworthy names that also reside on the same block include former Apple designer Jony Ive and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, who happens to be her next door neighbor.

The seven-bedroom home was built in 1916 and had been purchased in 2011 for $33M by Sloan Lindemann Barnett and Roger Barnett. The Barnetts spent the past ten years renovating the mansion, in hopes that the property would sell for over $100M when the time came to sell it.

The transaction of the property is said to have been a private and off-market deal. While the property did not sell for that price, Powell Jobs was still able to top the previous record-high home sold in the City by the Bay area, which had been a $43.5M Pacific Heights home sold in 2021.

In addition to this residence, Powell Jobs continues to have properties in Malibu, specifically in the area of Paradise Cove, Los Altos and Florida, to name a few.
