Bridgerton is an American-fiction regency romance Netflix series based on the Bridgerton novels written by Julia Quinn. The show focuses on the lives of noble families in Britain, specifically the Bridgerton family, as the siblings go off to find their suitable matches during the social seasons.
Throughout the show, families, including the Bridgerton family, throw gatherings to meet potential suitors, as well as weddings for their children. With that being said, viewers of the show have been able to take a look into what these residences look like and experts from AgentAdvice were able to come up with a method in determining the values of these stately homes if they were on the market today.
Some factors that were considered were each of the building’s area measurements, which were sourced from Ordnance Survey, the official national mapping agency for Great Britain. Additionally, area measurements were multiplied by the number of floors for each building, resulting in a total estimated interior floor size, which was then converted from square meters to square feet. Median house prices and sizes for each local area were also sourced from the Office for National Statistics, which was used to determine a median price per square foot. Lastly, the final estimated valuation was calculated by multiplying the mansion’s estimated floor space by the local area’s median price per square foot, and all of these figures were finally converted from GBP to USD.
Queen Charlotte’s Residence, Hampton Court Palace
Starting off with the most expensive estimated property, Queen Charlotte’s Hampton Court Palace easily takes the cake. Experts reveal that her 4-story residence is currently valued at $564 million, which was based on the palace’s estimated 712,062 square footage of floor space. One of the major features being factored into the price included location, which is in the London borough of Richmond Upon Thames, the 55-room kitchen and the over 178,000 square foot building area.
The Duke of Hastings’ Residences, Wilton House and Castle Howard
Coming in at less than a tenth of the price of Hampton Court Palace are both of the Hastings properties, Wilton House and Castle Howard. Today, Wilton House would be considered among the “best value for money” as it is the second-largest of all residences featured in Bridgerton and comes in at around $380 per square foot, making the overall value of the property around $47.5 million.
The fictional county home where newlywed Daphne and Simon move and grow a family in, better known as Castle Howard, is located in the heart of Yorkshire and happened to be the one of the cheapest locations in which the show was filmed. Experts revealed that this Clyvedon Castle would market around $27 million, which is quite remarkable given its estimated 88,888 square footage.

The Bridgerton Residence, Ranger’s House
Ranger’s House, located on Mayfair’s Grosvenor Square according to the show, was found to have actually been located in Greenwich, just around eight miles away from central London. While this mansion sits at the middle of the list of properties, its location and impressive amount of interior square footage resulted in an estimated value of $8.2 million.
Lady Danbury’s Estate, Holburne Museum of Art
This museum of art that was originally constructed as a hotel is valued at $7.09 million. This 16,147 square foot estate is considered to be one of Bridgerton’s modest properties and sits at a cost of $438 per square foot. Holbourne Museum of Art also remains open to the public for viewing pleasure.
The Featherington Residence, No. 1 Royal Crescent
No. 1 Royal Crescent, better known as the home and workplace of Lady Whistledown who is played by Nicola Coughlan, is estimated to cost almost $6.3 million. The shape of the building makes the residence even more notable as it sits in the shape of a “U’ and is comprised of 30 historic terraced homes. This 14,338 square foot property has also turned into a museum.
The Mondrich Residence, Kingston Bagpuize House
Kent Estate, which is also known as Kingston Bagpuize House in present day, belongs to the Mondrichs and is the latest and smallest family residence in Bridgerton. This property, located in Oxfordshire, is considered to be the most “affordable” of the show’s filming locations as the estate is estimated to value around $4.28 million.
With the show’s recent release of the second half of season three, fans can now have a sense of what their favorite Bridgerton residences would cost if they were put on the market today.
