PureLine and ContourLine offer the ultimate in form and function

At Miele, design is never an end in itself—it always exists in harmony with the utmost functionality. This is especially true with the introduction of the new Generation 6000 series which features two distinct design styles—PureLine and ContourLine. Under the principle “Design for Life," each design collection offers an array of ovens, warming drawers and built-in coffee systems that flawlessly complement one another in form, function, and materials. Combined with exclusive new technology and user interfaces, the design of the Generation 6000 series elevates the culinary experience with unprecedented convenience, performance, and elegance.

ContourLine
The design of ContourLine focuses on the use of stainless steel. Demonstrated with Miele ovens, this design element creates a frame around the oven door with stainless trim. The integrated handle is milled from a single block of solid metal and is substantial in both look and feel. Select models also feature the new ComfortSwivel handle which rotates effortlessly as the oven door is opened and closed. When combined with the stainless steel surrounding the fascia, ContourLine highlights its pure geometric lines to create a technical, modern effect, while at the same time feeling familiar and accessible. This familiarity allows ContourLine to complement various design styles from traditional to contemporary.

PureLine
PureLine is distinctly different from ContourLine and is minimalist and architectural in style. A substantial proportion of jet black glass provides a sense of lightness, allowing for seamless integration with cabinetry. The contrast of the glass front combined with a striking stainless steel Silhouette Handle results in an illusion that the handle is levitating above the surface. When paired with other ovens in PureLine, bold horizontal lines allow for a continuous design aesthetic.

Creative diversity achieved through new color options

Color has a profound impact on the overall impression of a kitchen. Miele is poised to inspire design creativity with two new colors available in PureLine – Truffle Brown and Brilliant White.

Truffle Brown
Truffle Brown is a modern interpretation of a classic theme. The brown of the glass fascia is reminiscent of smooth, decadent chocolate used by the world’s finest chocolatiers to make confections bearing the same name. The grey undertones allow the Truffle Brown appliances to blend with many different cabinet styles and wood grains. Accented with a new stainless steel Silhouette Handle, this contemporary design is an ideal selection for those with an instinctive attraction to harmonious existence in nature, with a deep richness at the same time.

Brilliant White
Brilliant White is derived from an existing Miele color scheme. As with all things Miele, the color option has been improved with greater brilliance. The proportion of white on the frontage has been increased. Models in Brilliant White feature a chrome-plated Silhouette Handle - a striking contrast to the white fascia, with a glamorous appeal.

With these new color options and the uniform design of the Generation 6000 series, Miele has created a series of appliances that will seamlessly integrate into any kitchen or lifestyle. Whether appliances are installed vertically, horizontally, as a square or in a T-shape configuration, the design is fully resolved.
