Despite the house never being on the market, American pop star Miley Cyrus managed to sell her ranch-style home for $14.5 million. The home is on 33.5 acres and is 7,000 square feet. Additionally on the property is a smaller barn-style building, which could be converted to suit many different purposes, such as a guest room or a recording studio.
Cyrus purchased the home for $5.8 million in 2017. While there is a good chance that the interior was fixed up, the exterior remained unchanged during her ownership, meaning the property's value increased by 150% in five years with minimal renovations.
The property is gated for security. There are five bedrooms, four full baths, and two half-baths. The master bathroom contains a soaking tub while the rest of the home features a covered porch, pool, putting green, and a rooftop deck. Thanks to the 33.5 acres of property, there are no close neighbors as well.
According to records, the home was the second-highest sold in the Nashville area this year. Reese Witherspoon bought a home earlier this year in the Belle Meade area for $18 million.
This isn't the only house Miley Cyrus sold recently. In 2020, she sold her home in Malibu, and in 2021, she sold her Hidden Hills home. She still holds the deed to a house currently worth $4 million in the Studio City neighborhood of L.A.
Matt Frauenshuh, a man from Minneapolis who now owns more than 200 Dairy Queen stores and is considered the biggest franchisee of Dairy Queen stores throughout the world, was the purchaser of Miley's home. He is also the CEO of Fourteen Foods and Double Seven Development.
