Optimum Development USA has announced that the foundation, parking garage slab and ground floor elevator lobbies have been poured for Monaco Yacht Club & Residences, an exclusive enclave of thirty-nine luxurious waterfront residences and a private marina in collaboration with two of the most esteemed names in design, Piero Lissoni and Arquitectonica.

Moss, the appointed general contractor of the condominium, led the concrete pour of the 12-story boutique Bayfront building located at 6800 Indian Creek Drive, which utilized 250 cubic yards of concrete and 20 tons of reinforcing steel to fill the 12” concrete slab covering approximately 6,700 square feet.

Approximately 75 percent of the foundation work for Monaco Yacht Club & Residences have been completed, which includes the installation of 403 60 feet deep Auger Cast Piles totaling more than 1,314 cubic yards of concrete. Moss has also pumped over 70 million gallons of water to-date through a de-watering system that pumps approximately 700 gallons of water per minute. Having recently erected the tower crane onsite, only two more pours remain for completing the first level of the project.

To be delivered fully-finished, world-renowned Italian interior designer Piero Lissoni meticulously curated each of the modern unit interiors with precise attention to detail, inclusive of the refined Italian-made fixtures and finishes, with European custom wood flooring. Lissoni employed a palette of warm whites and rich woods for the lobby and the premier “Resident’s Lounge” -- featuring a library and breakfast bar for leisurely waterfront dining -- that evokes a timeless, classic mood reminiscent of a luxurious Côte d’Azur summer resort and responds to the building’s program of luxury living, fun lifestyle, laid-back environment, and relaxed atmosphere.
