Rising to fame at the early age of 12 starring in controversial films “Pretty Baby” and “Blue Lagoon,” actress and model Brooke Shields has been in the public eye for several decades. In 1991, Shields found home in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, California where she would reside for the next 20 years. The real estate purchase took place during her first marriage to tennis legend Andre Agassi at a cost of $3.3 million.

At one point in time, the property served as a rental home to former celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner while their marital mansion underwent renovations. After years on and off the rental market, Brooke Shields is officially bidding farewell to her longtime Los Angeles residence. The recent property listing presents the home at a price of $8.195 million, more than twice the price she purchased it at. The former fashion model will reportedly reside exclusively on the East Coast with New York City as her new hometown.

The charming chalet style home in Pacific Palisades spans 5,345-square-feet and includes five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Although nestled in a secluded canyon behind a gated motor court for privacy, the home’s interior aesthetic shines with character. Atypical to the cliché Los Angeles architecture, this humble abode evokes a country cabin feel while situated near the beach. Stepping inside, the comfortable yet cozy living space offers couch seating and a sturdy coffee table. The country inspired dining room presents dark wood elements contrasting the built-in china cabinets for a rustic yet elegant touch. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with top end appliances and a wall of windows overlooking the hills surrounding the home.

On the second level, the interior space offers an open floor plan. The staircase leads to a landing with a reading nook and an office area. The master bedroom features a couch, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, red accents for a pop of color, a spacious walk-in closet, and a dreamy bathroom with standalone tub. Additionally, the second floor includes a classic deck leading to a private pool and spa area. The secluded section also provides space for lounging and entertaining as well as offering picturesque views of the Santa Monica Mountains.
