What do condos and clothing have in common? If you find them in Wynwood, they’re works of art before anything else. Last Friday evening, the art district’s quintessential creativity was especially palpable at the NoMad Residences Wynwood Sales Gallery, where the condo’s leading real estate developer Related Group partnered with the renowned contemporary British fashion brand Mallet London to host a pop-up shop of its latest pieces.

Exclusive members of the media gathered to shop the new collection and participate in a meet-and-greet with Evren Ozka, Mallet’s Co-founder and Business Director, as well as Tommy Mallet himself. The VIP event marked the founder and Creative Director’s first public appearance in the U.S. since launching his collection exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Mallet hit the ground running as a men’s footwear-only label, and since then it’s expanded and become a go-to for fashion enthusiasts worldwide. The luxury brand’s signature trainers and innovative apparel have attracted the likes of Will.i.am. and Drake, so attendees were in for a real treat as they browsed the contemporary collection, which encapsulates Mallet’s affinity for blending luxury and streetwear.

The event doubled as an opportunity to learn more about the coming NoMad Residences Wynwood and underscored Related Group’s mission to support Wynwood’s robust arts culture. “As luxury-branded condominiums continue to emerge, spanning from hospitality to fashion, our commitment to showcasing the dynamic culture that defines Wynwood as Miami’s creative capital remains unwavering,” said Nick Pérex, President of Related Group’s Condominium Division.
The neighborhood’s essence will be undeniable at NoMad’s inaugural condo, where everything from design to amenity experiences is an extension of Wynwood’s creative flare. Food and beverage programs like The NoMad Bar—a signature rooftop restaurant and mixology bar concept led by James Beard Award Winner Leo Robitschek—will bring daring creations and a vibrant atmosphere fit for the creative capital. Guests got a first taste of the NoMad Residences experience as they enjoyed cocktails from an on-site mixologist, light bites, and a live DJ alongside the Mallet London team.
