Rosie O'Donnell seems to be going through a lot of changes lately, both in a personal and professional sense: following her divorce from Michelle Rounds, she announced her resignation from "The View" just last week, citing health reasons and her desire to minimize the stress in her life (as revealed on this video posted on YouTube).
Now, the famed talk-show host and comedian is looking to make yet another life change, as she hopes to unload her waterfront home in Casey Key, Florida for $5.75 million.
O'Donnell purchased the residence—which touts four bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, and 100 feet of beachfront, complete with a private dock—with Rounds back in 2013 for $5 million. Sited on .78 acres, the 4,648-square-foot home features bright and spacious rooms outfitted with French oak floors and tongue-and-grove ceilings. French doors lead from the master suite and other rooms onto oversized balconies overlooking the ocean.
Secured with storm-proof windows, the sunny, sea-inspired single-family also boasts an elevator, a four-plus-car garage, and a poolside loggia that includes a lounging area, an eat-in bar with extra counter space, and a mounted television. Other perks of the three-story abode include a barbecue station, a patio, and a hot tub, not to mention dry-boat storage in a full-service marina located less than a mile away.
The Florida estate isn't the first to go on O'Donnell's real estate portfolio chopping block: she sold her Greenwich Village penthouse for $9 million last December, after listing her riverfront compound in Nyack—comprised of four adjacent properties along Washington Avenue, each priced from $600,000 to $2.5 million.
