Any luxury connoisseur knows that attention to detail is what makes the finer things in life so special. And as a long-time player in the luxury landscape, the Four Seasons hospitality brand is no stranger to the concept. In Fort Lauderdale, the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences brings the finer things to Florida’s tropical lifestyle with a classic yacht club feel, and this Spring, the location’s award-winning Executive Pastry Chef, Christina Kaelberer celebrates this fusion with her artful collection of seasonal Easter desserts that take inspiration from the sunshine state.

It seems the feeling of spring is always in the air in sunny Fort Lauderdale, but at the Four Seasons, this time of year is particularly special with the hotel’s collection of indoor-outdoor spaces and lush arrangements that reflect the city’s blooming essence.
Last year, Chef Kaelberer infused the sweetness of spring into handcrafted creations like her decadent Matcha Crepe Cake and Malted Cream Puffs served at Honey Fitz, the hotel’s tropical all-day lounge. She also whipped up intricate chocolate bunnies and eggs for the hotel’s Easter Sunday brunch, Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies, and Cardamom Donuts at Evelyn’s, the location’s waterside Mediterranean-style restaurant.

Even before joining the Four Seasons team in Fort Lauderdale, Chef Kaelberer’s meticulousness in the kitchen was evident from her many accolades. From competing on Iron Chef America and winning the Outstanding Pastry Chef Charlie Award to working alongside multi-Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, she can be considered an artist just as much as a chef.
What’s in store for this Spring is still a surprise left for guests, so stay tuned to see (and taste) what masterpieces Chef Kaelberer will dream up this year!
