Karlie Kloss, one of the most in-demand models currently working in the fashion industry, recently made news in New York's real estate circles with her purchase of a two bedroom, two bath West Village co-op for $1.97 million.
According to the Post, Kloss, 20, just closed on the Charles Street apartment listed by Debra Kameros and Susan Weiner of Douglas Elliman. The co-op spot, which reportedly has a monthly maintenance fee of $1,709, is a newly renovated multi-level townhouse. The apartment boasts 12-foot ceilings, an eat-in kitchen, a private garden and a master bedroom with 20 feet of custom closet space for Kloss' designer wardrobe.
It's sure to be good news for Kloss, who recently told Page Six that she was anxious to find a pied-à-terre in New York; "I can't wait to have a home in the city, and finally feel at home. It's not easy to do. I've been back and forth between St. Louis [her hometown] and New York for the past five years."
