The Los Angeles residence that once belonged to the late actor Matthew Perry has officially found a buyer, as reported by Mansion Global. Purchased by the beloved Friends star just months before his passing, the mid-century property entered the market in May with a listing price of $5.195 million. By September, the price had been reduced to $4.7 million.
Details about the buyer and final sale price remain undisclosed, but the home reportedly went under contract on Tuesday. Perry acquired the property in June 2023 for just under $5 million through a limited liability company named after Alvy Singer, the character from Woody Allen’s 1977 film Annie Hall, reflecting the name of his trust.
The actor, known for his iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing on the 1990s sitcom Friends, tragically passed away in October 2023 at the age of 54 due to acute ketamine effects. His death occurred at a different Los Angeles home, which had been sold earlier this year.
