This past weekend, the Pendry Residences held two exclusive days of wine tasting at their stunning Terrace Estate 705 with breathtaking views stretching from Downtown Los Angeles to Malibu. Proprietor and Rockstar of Napa, Lawrence Fairchild of Fairchild Napa Valley, flew down specifically for this one-of-a-kind event that welcomed Pendry Residents and select guests to experience the refined tastes of six, 95-100 point Stones Wines, known as the Hermes of the global wine industry.
Upon entering the private tour of the Pendry Residences, guests were greeted with a glass of Fairchild’s Chardonnay, described as a perfectly balanced vintage with a long finish. The wine is set in a unique bottle that is able to rest on its side. As guests sipped on their chardonnay and mingled amongst the luxurious landscape, they were invited to an inside taste of Fairchild’s most exclusive collection, Perrarus. The guests received a glass of the brand’s exceptional wine, released once a year through a lottery, blurring the line between art and wine. In addition to the tastings, guests also indulged in a sneak peek of Fairchild’s new, upcoming release, Perrarus: The Animal Series.
The tasting commenced with more Fairchild delicacies accompanied by charcuterie and canapes by Wolfgang Puck. As guests indulged in Fairchild Sigaro Cabernet Sauvignon, a 98-point Cabernet Sauvignon from Prichard Hill, Fairchild, himself, had the pleasure of walking guests through the intricacies of each vintage. To follow, guests tasted Stones Longitude Latitude and his Stones Collection, Stones No. 1, Stones No. 2, and Stones No. 3, finishing off a night of extravagance.
