The Century Plaza Hotel, designed by Yamasaki, is a 1966, mid-century landmark that served as a second home to Hollywood talent agents, power players, and stars and hosted countless awards shows.

Given that the hotel is considered to be historic, we have engaged some of the most talented architects, Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, Gensler, and Marmol Radziner, to remodel the hotel, while keeping the outline of the original plaza.

International design firm, Yabu Pushelberg, will bring subtle, but luxurious interiors to the guest rooms and public spaces.

The hotel will be re-branded as the Fairmont Century Plaza, a five-star brand, and will include 394 guest rooms and 63 luxury condominium units.

Upon its completion at the beginning of 2019,  The Fairmont will welcome visitors arriving through glass entrances that guide them to two glass dining pavilions near cascading pools spread across 1.5 million square feet.
