The South Station Tower residential development in Boston will be the newest home of the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Residences. The 166 condominiums, set on the upper 16 floors of the building, are set to open in 2025. The 1,020,000-square-foot, 51-floor building, developed by Hines and designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners, will offer panoramic views of the city and Boston Harbor.
The building is designed with sustainability in mind and is set to achieve LEED Gold certification and WELL Gold certification and to be one of the first BREEAM “Excellent” ratings in the U.S.
“The Ritz-Carlton is synonymous with luxury exceptionalism and is a perfect match for this iconic project in the heart of Boston. We look forward to delivering a unique and bespoke experience to our Owners and working with Hines to deliver on the brand promise,” said Sarah Khalifa, VP, Mixed-Use Development, Marriott International.
Residents will have exclusive access to an array of indoor and outdoor amenities on the 36th floor, as well as the amenities offered in the commercial space on the lower floors. These amenities will include an expansive private park that is designed by OJB to be used for a wide variety of outdoor uses, including meeting spaces, a dining terrace, water, and fire features, contemplative gardens, walking paths, and activity lawns.
The luxury condominium and office tower represent the first phase of the three-phase plan at the existing South Station bus terminal.
