In the age of fitness influencers and diet tea affiliate marketing, the concept of wellness is nothing new to the 21st century. It’s easy enough to drive to a local cycling class or farm-to-table eatery every now and then, but true wellness mingles authentically into everyday life. And now, renowned wellness brand THE WELL is bringing balanced well-being home with its first-ever residential building, THE WELL Bay Harbor Islands.
The first-of-its-kind luxury development—coming to Miami in December 2024 with real estate developer Terra—is a mixed-use concept that positions wellness at the center of it all with sustainability, healthy lifestyle solutions, and design that brings the serenity of the great outdoors inside. The 250,000-square-foot development features 54 condominiums and a wealth of amenity space, each designed by THE WELL in partnership with Meyer Davis.

The building, which is Florida Green Building Design-certified, welcomes floods of natural light to interiors of reclaimed wood and stone finishes for a space that radiates the robustness of balanced living. Residents will find services that make whole-person wellness second nature as THE WELL offers a full-time wellness concierge, in-home plant design and maintenance, access to THE WELL locker of the latest wellness tech, a dedicated electric house car, and an energy-clearing ceremony of each new residence.

THE WELL’s industry-leading wellness expertise comes to the residences with THE WELL Bay Harbor Club, a 13,000 square-foot wellness and fitness center with an in-depth program of East-meets-West treatments, classes led by world-class healers, IV vitamin therapy, Miami’s first caldarium, a halotherapy steam room, and more. After a session in the yoga studio or The Club’s Infrared Sound Dome, residents can find rejuvenation at the community’s healthy eatery and outdoor juice bar.

Even with 22,000 square feet of wellness amenity space, residents won’t need to leave home to find wellbeing. Serenity is infused into every Bay Harbor Islands residence with a built-in air purification system, aromatherapy diffusers, meditation corners, and spacious balconies that invite fresh air. Additionally, residents will find wellness products, curated by THE WELL practitioners, like essential oils and indulgent body care products.

Balancing the needs of personal well-being and communal harmony, the residences feature a number of shared spaces that promote ease and a sense of connectedness. The building’s rooftop lounge offers a sunny community with two pools—one spacious low-toxin lap pool and one circular heated pool—alongside conversational corners found in outdoor kitchens, the private cabana, and many chaises. And with a cozy reading room, tea lounge, and 100,000 square feet of luxury office space, there’s a community for every facet of life.
