In Fort Lauderdale's tallest building on the ninth floor, there hides a secret speakeasy with a months-long waitlist. The building is home to Hyatt Centric Las Olas as well as 100 Las Olas residences and features separate amenities for both residents and guests. Room 901, however, is for everyone... as long as you can get a reservation.
Named after the very room it occupies, this clandestine bar offers a sultry ambiance that transports guests to a bygone era – specifically the 1920s. Bathed in the glow of red lighting and adorned with black drape curtains and plush velvet furniture, the atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic speakeasy. Room 901 sets the stage for a trip to the Jazz Age, where secrecy and sophistication reign supreme.
Limited to just twelve guests per seating, Tuesday through Sunday, this intimate setting ensures a personalized and immersive journey into the past. Choose from three two-hour seatings at 5:00, 7:15, and 9:30 p.m., and prepare to be transported to a world of clandestine indulgence.

At the bar's helm is a team of skilled mixologists, ready to craft cocktails such as "Late Check Out" and "Smoke & Mirrors" that pay homage to the prohibition era. And for those seeking more than just liquid indulgence, Executive Chef Greg McGowan has curated a selection of gourmet dishes from Mini Connecticut-style lobster rolls to Wagyu beef katsu sando.
The building features 238 guest rooms and suites with sleek interiors and balconies that offer expansive city views and 113 luxury condominium residences beginning on the 16th floor. The upscale, urban property is a premiere getaway for business, group, and leisure travelers and also the perfect place for Fort Lauderdale locals to call home.
