Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar-winning actress known for her major roles in The Hunger Games and Passengers, has recently listed her loft in the Tribeca area of Manhattan for $10.5 million. She purchased the loft in 2017 for $9 million, so if it sells for listing, she could make a small profit of $1.5 million.
The loft itself is 3,184 square feet. It has three bedrooms and is just two blocks from the Hudson River Greenway.
It was designed with celebrities in mind, and therefore can only be accessed from a key-locked elevator that can also take you directly to a private garage.
The loft has a modern-rustic style with an open floor plan and many modern luxuries such as white oak floors, large windows, and tall ceilings. There is a chef's kitchen as well, which was designed by Christopher Peacock.
The main bedroom suite has its own bathroom, with a stand-alone tub and shower, as well as heated floors and four closets including a large walk-in.
The building itself was originally built in 1882 as a book bindery. Though the building was changed to accommodate condos in 2016, it has kept some of the historic details, such as exposed wood beams and columns.
Shared amenities throughout the building include a pool, gym, yoga studio, Pilates studio, roof deck, and a massage room. The listing is represented by Pamela D'Arc with Compass New York.
This isn't the only property that Jennifer Lawrence owns. She recently sold a penthouse in New York City. She purchased it for $15.45 million and unfortunately sold it at a loss for $9.9 million. She also owns a 5-bedroom home in Beverly Hills that used to be owned by Ellen DeGeneres and a 4-bedroom townhouse in the West Village area.
