The Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami is breaking ground and breaking records as the first 'supertall' tower in Miami. Towering 100 stories and 1,049 feet over the glistening Biscayne Bay, the building claims its fame as the tallest residential tower south of New York City. Thanks to national developer PMG and partners at Greybrook, Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and Hilton, the project marks the very first debut of the world-renowned luxury hospitality brand, Waldorf Astoria, in the South Florida market.

“The groundbreaking of Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami signifies much more than the property’s vertical construction. As Miami’s first supertall tower and Waldorf Astoria’s first entry into the city, this achievement further designates Miami as a global destination and sets a new benchmark for luxury real estate paired with superior hospitality,” says Kevin Maloney, President and Chief Executive Officer at PMG. “We could not be more honored to continue transforming Miami’s skyline with the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami alongside our partners and prominent industry leaders.”

The Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami will be home to 360 private residences as well as 205 guest rooms and suites within the luxury hotel. The tower itself will feature nine Jenga-like glass cubes. Led by Sieger Suarez Architects, in collaboration with renowned architect Carlos Ott and interior design by award-winning interior design firm BAMO, the building’s design is exceptionally unique, standing out even amongst the vibrant Miami coastline.

The development will also hold the brand’s signature amenities for both the hotel and residences. Guests and residents will be treated with top-tier Hilton Management Services. The brand’s elegant atmosphere and timeless luxury will shine through its customized, refined services. Guests and residents will also have access to their world-famous, specialty restaurant, Peacock Alley in addition to indoor/outdoor pre-function and function event spaces, meetings and boardrooms, a resort-style pool deck with private cabanas, and a holistic wellness spa and fitness center.

For those looking for a more permanent stay or a place to purchase, residents will also receive the perks of exclusive, private amenities including an owners-only lobby and lounge, hospitality suite for chef’s tastings and intimate soirees, billiard room, kid’s club, and elevated pool deck. Within the residences themselves will be the latest smart-home technology. At the touch of a screen, a custom mobile app will provide access to a vast variety of services including concierge service, dining reservations, 24/7 room service, spa and fitness treatments, house car reservations, valet services, package delivery, and dog walking services.

Among several other trendy developments in the flourishing city of Miami, the luxury market is thriving, making it the perfect time for the project to unveil. After hitting the market in the spring of 2021, Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami is already 87% sold, proving just how hot the Miami market is. PMG took on the sales of the residences themselves led by their in-house firm. So far, PMG Residential has leveraged its unrivaled knowledge of the Miami market and international expertise to complete over $1 billion in sales. Before it’s too late, check out the last of the remaining inventory. These residences primarily include the Sky Collection and penthouse residences.
