What’s Cooking at Poggenpohl? Porsche Design, +ARTESIO and More

Keep up with the coolest kitchens with a little help from Poggenpohl.

First comes the highly innovative Porsche Design kitchen P’7340. Poggenpohl is actually the first kitchen manufacturer to employ carbon fiber in cabinetry, making this kitchen as functional and high-quality as it is elegant. On that note, three years ago, Porsche Design and Poggenpohl designed the P’7340 kitchen to cater to modern tastes, and ended up infiltrating the male market. We think it has something to do with materials like glass and aluminum, lack of handles and, now, carbon fiber.

Poggenpohl proudly presents +ARTESIO, a dual effort with renowned architect/designer Hadi Teherani that makes for the ultimate comprehensive fitted kitchen. Everything but the kitchen sink (literally) goes into this design, including elements of flooring, ceiling, ventilation, sound and lighting. This complex combination leaves no room for simple seating; instead, sit pretty on highly architectural furniture, available in a corner bench in dark pine, amongst other options.
