Hollywood A-lister and soon-to-be mom Zooey Deschanel just listed her charming Hollywood Hills home at $2.195 million.
The New Girl star—who plays “Jess” on the hit comedy series—is bidding adieu to her three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath abode at 3295 Bennett Drive, which she purchased from the “Incredible Hulk” (namely, actor Mark Ruffalo) back in 2009 for $1.69 million.
Spanning 2,957 square feet, the gated abode sits on half an acre in the western part of the hills, right off the Sunset Strip. Its quaintly-decorated interiors feature a newly-renovated chef’s kitchen (with marble countertops an island, and a farmhouse sink) and breakfast nook, along with formal dining and living rooms that showcase wooden ceiling beams and a wood-burning fireplace.
Outside the single-story lies a backyard ideal for entertaining guests, plus a detached guest unit with its own bath.
Westside Estate Agency's Sara Berger currently holds the celebrity listing, which arrives at the heels of Deschanel’s purchase of a Cape Cod-style residence in neighboring Manhattan Beach—a 5,166-square-footer with a bright backyard, sports court, and pool that she picked up for $4.659 million.
